"From the beginning, meeting her in the courtyard of the Louvre, she was full of energy and got us going. It was great to go the \"back way\" into the museum that the tour guides have access to. Fe had a set plan and route for us to see the popular and well known pieces but along the way she gave us interesting history and background of the museum and the history and development of art. She helped us understand and see the changes over time in how sculptors and artists changed their styles and forms. It felt like we got an advanced understanding of art history as part of the package. After our time was up, she also helped us get oriented to go and see other pieces that were on our list. "Julien was a wonderful guide through the Louvre for three adults and two kids - age 9 and 7 - who had never been. He took what would have been an incredibly overwhelming experience - as we only had 2-3 hours, and we were there at a very busy time period- and kept us on track to hit some famous highlights in that short window of time. He was a wealth of knowledge throughout, providing detailed history and interesting stories that entertained the kids and the adults.
