"A terrific tour.\n\nCommunication with Martin before and during the tour was first rate. His command of English is impeccable. He’s also fluent in French, which we are not, but it was sure nice to hear German and French place names pronounced in accordance with the language of their origin.\n\nMartin was well prepared with before images of the places we visited. Of course he was very knowledgeable as well. He also took the extra step of cross referencing the places we visited to lyrics in Bowie songs on an ongoing basis, which was very insightful.\n\nOther reviewers noted how the tour was a great way to see Berlin. They were right. I like David Bowie. My partner is a huge fan. The tour suited us both. We saw numerous neighborhoods that were really wonderful (regardless of your musical taste), but not on our itinerary. Thanks to Martin, we visited them feeling like locals, which instilled us with an even greater appreciation of Berlin."
