"Our family of 7 toured the Acropolis and its slopes with Costas on our recent trip to Greece. The whole experience was excellent. When we first booked, we weren't clear on how to get Acropolis or museum tickets, or for what time, based on the time of our WithLocals tour. Communication with Costas was quick and simple, though; he corresponded with us immediately and sent us in the right direction. It all lined up perfectly. We met Costas right in front of the entrance to the slopes and the tour proceeding seamlessly. It was a hot day, but Costas made sure we stayed in the shade on the way to the top, stopping under trees to show us the ruins and teach us the history. Part of our party was also just coming in from a delayed flight, and they were able to meet right up with us (on the slopes), as Costas helped us with a meeting spot. As a native, Costas knows his Greek stories well. He was very informative and presented it all in a manner that was historic, interesting, and entertaining. He kept us all engaged (ages 20-57) for the entire tour, bantered with us personally, and made sure to take some sweet family pics of us with prime backdrops. We spent about 2 hours on the slopes and summit, which were spectacular (I highly recommend a hat for the sunny summit!), and about 1 hour in the museum. In the museum, Costas navigated us through the most interesting parts, so that we felt like 1 hour was plenty of time for a good taste of the exhibits. This tour is a must-do for any first-timers in Athens, and Costas is a great tour guide. I highly recommend a tour with him."

"Evanthia contacted me right after I booked our tour. She even texted me to say I had to purchase the acropolis & slope tour and the museum tickets separately and what website to go to. She also texted us a meeting place. \nEvanthia’s vast knowledge of the history of Acropolis and all the surrounding monuments is astounding!\nEvanthia was even a very good sport when we (my 20 yr. daughter and I just stepped off a 10 our flight with a 3 hour layover from our first 2 hr flight at 9am) and told her we were extremely exhausted so Evanthia keep us at a great pace in order to see the entire museum. Needless to say she didn’t race through to get it all in. She was thorough but brief. "

" What a great morning my wife and I had touring the Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum with Markella last week. She is obviously very passionate about the history of her great City and I think I learnt more about that history, and particularly this area, than I ever did studying Greek history at school. Markella's commentary and delivery was personal, fascinating and informative. We both came away with a great respect and understanding of what we were viewing. 100% better than any recorded self-guided tour. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens. Best to start early too, in order to avoid the heat and cruise ship masses, while there are still some shaded areas to retreat during the tour. "
