"We booked a tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum with Carlo. He was very responsive before our day. He also helped me book transportation to both sites as we were with a car.\n\nWe started in Herculneum just as the site opened. Carlo gave a great background on Vesuvius and what we were going to experience during the day as we looked out over the site. He obviously knows both sites well and helped us navigate the large (and somewhat intimidating) areas. It was an intense few hours- however, very rewarding. On our own, we would have only seen 10% of what Carlo was able to fit in on the tour.\n\nCarlo entertained any question my family had from basic to humorous; was willing to stop for a break whenever my two young daughters needed a diversion; and gave us great suggestions for restaurants for the remainder of our stay in Naples.\n\nCarlo is a great guide.
