Visit the Old Jewish Quarter (El Mellah), where you can admire the spirit that looms over it, the shops and the authenticity of the place. Your local host will shine a light on the history that went through in the district and many more local insights!
The district looks and feels like Marrakech 30 years ago, unscathed by modernization, unchanged by the advancement of the country and it’s all yours to discover!Check out the rugged souks, the shops, buy your herbs and spices, or enjoy a cup of Berber tea at the Almaza Synagogue.

Savor Moroccan food on a food tour around the city
Moroccans and Arabs usually put a lot of emphasis on food and nothing tops being part of that flavorful experience. Embark on a tasty food tour and relish the diversity of Moroccan flavors. You’ll be taking strolls through markets and souks, sampling different flavors, foods, and spices, all while a local guide helps you identify and explain what you’re eating.

Sunset Tasting With Ouidad
"Jan and I chose Ouidad as our guide for the Tastings of Marrakech tour based on the glowing reviews praising her warmth and kindness. From the very start, my intuition told me we were in for a remarkable experience—and we were not disappointed. Ouidad is truly a wonderful person, and that made all the difference. It was incredible how quickly we felt like we were with an old friend.\n\nBefore each tasting, Ouidad beautifully described the dishes we were about to enjoy, which heightened our anticipation and enriched the tasting itself. Between stops, she shared fascinating stories about the Medina’s history, architecture, people, customs, and traditions, not just from the Medina but from various regions of Morocco. She was very considerate in making sure we felt comfortable with the historical information she shared, recognizing that some guests prefer to focus only on the food while others, like us, appreciate the cultural and historical information.\n\nAt every stop, we received a warm welcome, and the food was absolutely delicious. I honestly cannot imagine a better guide than Ouidad. For anyone seeking a genuine, enriching food and cultural journey through Marrakech, Ouidad is the perfect companion. Bon appétit!"

Two Perfect Days in the Atlas Mountains
"I spent two days in the Atlas Mountains and surrounding regions with Brahim. What could have been a standard sightseeing tour became an extraordinary journey, thanks to Brahim’s professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of his homeland. Our trip began in Imlil, a picturesque village often considered the gateway to the Atlas Mountains. Brahim organized the perfect balance of adventure and hospitality. After I hiked a beautiful mountain trail with his best friend Mohamed; Brahim welcomed me into his family home where he and his wife Aïcha prepared a traditional Berber lunch. The following day we crossed the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest major road in the Atlas Mountains at roughly 2,200 meters. In Ouarzazate, we explored Atlas Studios, famously known as the “Hollywood of North Africa,” followed by the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. On the way back, nature treated us to a surprise: a sudden haboob, a swirling desert sandstorm that turned the journey into yet another unforgettable memory.\n\nBrahim stands out not just for his organizational skills and knowledge, but also for the personal care he brings to his work. He treats travelers as friends, not clients, and his ability to combine professionalism with genuine hospitality creates an experience that feels both seamless and deeply authentic. If you are planning to explore Morocco’s mountains, valleys, or desert landscapes, I cannot recommend Brahim enough. His passion for sharing Morocco ensures that every moment feels meaningful, whether you’re hiking remote trails, sitting down to a family meal, or visiting world-famous landmarks. Brahim transforms a trip into a memory you will cherish long after you’ve returned home!"

Unforgettable tour of the souks
"After loving our food tour with Adil, we hired him the following night for a tour of the souks. He knows every detail of the Medina since he grew up there and he shared his knowledge with such passion. Walking around and shopping with Adil felt like hanging out with a friend. He even managed to keep our reluctant 13 year old son engaged for 2.5 hours. I highly recommend Adil!"
"Our first evening in Marrakech we had the absolute pleasure of taking a food tour with Adil. He customized the tour to our exact needs—adventurous adults and not so adventurous 13 year old. Adil was so knowledgeable about the history of Marrakech, local cuisine and we even discussed English literature! We were so impressed by the experience that we hired him for a tour of the souks on the next night. "
"The afternoon food tour was our first proper experience of Marrakech and were instantly put at ease meeting Adil. Adil's enthusiasm for his home city was infectious and shared great knowledge on a number of topics. We were able to experience a number of things we wouldn't likely have done on our own. All of the choices of food and drinks were excellent, just a shame we both ran out of room to eat and drink more. Highly recommended, thank you Adil"
"We had the most amazing evening in Marrakech with Ouidad. From the very start she made us feel so welcome and at ease, and it honestly felt like exploring the city with a good friend. She has such a deep knowledge of Marrakech, but what really stood out was the way she shared stories and little details that made everything come alive.\n\nShe showed us places we never would have found on our own, and her passion for her city was so inspiring. The whole evening was thoughtful, fun, and full of surprises that made it unforgettable.\n\nWe can’t thank her enough for giving us such a special experience. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we are already excited to plan another tour with her next time we’re in Marrakech."
"We had an amazing tastings tour with Ouidad. The sights, sounds, and of course the food were amazing. Ouidad was so knowledgable and entertaining for all ages in our party but above all Ouidad was so kind and caring!! "
"Mo was very friendly and knew his stuff. He took us around the markets, explaining how it functions. Blacksmith and leather area was very interesting. We loved visiting the university (at an extra cost). All the details of architecture was very intricate. Well worth it"
"Ouidad is probably one of the best guides we’ve ever come across. She was immediately warm, loving and kind to us both, and tailored a tour to what we felt like seeing. She clearly did research into our tour needs, including a special restaurant stop so we could enjoy a local vegan dish. She knows everyone, and her knowledge and pride of Marrakech really shone through. We found her style perfect, she gives an overview of where you are, then leaves you to have a look around and get the obligatory pictures etc. She knew the answers to all our questions, and clearly approaches her tours as she does life: with love, warmth and hospitality. She is also hilarious and has a hugely endearing personality. Our tour with Ouidad is now a highlight of our time in Morocco. Our time together went too fast, and we were left wanting more! "
"We had a lovely experience with Lhoussaine. His ability to describe the nuances of culture through the foods of Morocco was very special. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. His love for the people and culture of Morocco shines through in his tour. I would definitely recommend Lhoussaine as a guide for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Moroccan food and culture. \n"
